nVery easy to drink, this new rum from Foursquare was aged in both bourbon and sherry casks for a decade, adding layers of vanilla, brown sugar, tropical fruit and spice. A blend of both pot- and column-still rums, this is destined to be another classic from rum maestro Richard Seale.

Foursquare Premise Rum Tasting Notes
nNose: Confectionary vanilla, toasted oak and a hint of red berries initially, before a light trickle of spices and syrupy peaches emerge.

nPalate: The cask influence is more prominent on the palate, with lots of baking spice, and fortified wine notes. A hint of sharp lemon develops among more rounded notes of stone fruits and marmalade.

nFinish: Lengthy and pleasant.

Distillery Information
nTucked away in the southern countryside of Barbados, on 8 acres of a former sugar plantation, is the magnificent Foursquare Rum Distillery and Heritage Park.
