nThe perfect dram for a Glenfarclas fan. This anniversary single malt from the Highland distillers celebrates 185 years of whisky production. This is some feat, and they have decided to create a dram that champions its own particular flair. This is distinctly Glenfarclas. A sherried, rich, chocolatey dram, the care and expertise can be tasted in every drop. This was bottled at a strength of 46% abv.

nThe nose is characteristically Glenfarclas, with a sherried richness leading into aromas of jam, banana bread, waxy orange and cinnamon. The palate gives notes of blackberry jam, freshly ground coffee, prunes and mint chocolate. The finish is one of jam jelly, polished oak, and fruitcake.
